2 Data We Collect

Identity & Contact (name, email, credentials); Service Data (content, documents, prompts); Financial Data (Stripe-handled — Cogniverse only stores billing status and transaction IDs); Technical Data (IP, browser type, interaction data via cookies). Special categories of personal data (e.g. medical) are prohibited and will be deleted if identified.

3 Purposes and Legal Basis

Service provision (Contract); Payment processing (Contract / Legal Obligation); Marketing & tracking cookies (Consent).

4 Third-Party Sharing and International Transfers

Core database hosted in Europe. Prompts and uploads shared with AI sub-processors: Google, OpenAI, Anthropic. Transfers outside the EEA are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and signed Data Processing Agreements. User data is explicitly excluded from AI model training.

5 Data Retention and Account Deletion

Data retained while account is active or as legally required. Free-tier accounts inactive for 12+ continuous months will have all personal data and files permanently deleted (GDPR data minimization principle).

6 Your GDPR Rights

Access, rectification, erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, right to object. Exercise via [email protected]. Right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
